Celebrate Mom!

Easy Mother’s Day Brunch Party Plan

What every Mom really wants on Mother’s Day is to just spend time with her children.  With this easy Mother’s Day brunch party plan, you can spend time together and eat a delicious and beautiful meal right at home.

The Plan

Easy Mother’s Day Brunch Party Plan

Take this party outside, if the weather is beautiful.  If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, just grab a bouquet of wildflowers for the table and pretend this is a garden brunch 🙂

Grilled Nectarine and Arugula Salad

I love to pair fruit with cheese in salads.
Grilling the nectarines brings out the full flavor of the fruit. The sweet, tartness of the nectarines paired with gorgonzola is the perfect complement to the bite of arugula.

Wild Flowers & Chocolate Fondue

Set your table with Wildflowers or colorful Tulips.

Chocolate fondue is an easy fun to eat dessert.  + it takes a little time to eat, so it makes for a great way to finish the meal with relaxed conversation while eating yummy fondue.

Bloody Mary Shrimp Pasta

It’s just not brunch without Bloody Mary’s, right?  This shrimp pasta dish is a bloody mary in a pasta dish – complete with vodka and delicious spiciness.

Quick and Easy Mini Quiche

Quiche is just perfect for a springtime Mother’s day brunch.  This quick and easy quiche recipe fits perfectly into the Mother’s Day brunch party plan.  Get the party started in the kitchen (mom is not allowed to cook) and let everyone pick their filling.   Fun, easy and everyone is happy!

Mimosas

Everyone loves a mimosa.  If there is such a thing as the “official” drink of brunch, then it’s the mimosa.  Simple, easy to make.

Make sure to use good sparkling wine and either fresh squeezed OJ or really good orange Juice like Natalie’s or Uncle Matt’s.

Watermelon Ginger Sparkling Water

I love bubbles in my water.  I bought my first watermelon of the season yesterday and it’s amazingly delicious.  It’s going to make a perfectly sweet and spicy sparkling water to go with this easy Mother’s Day brunch.
