Simple and Easy Grilled Chicken Wings
Chicken Wings are a great food for a barbecue or picnic food. These simple and easy grilled chicken wings are delicious. I start them in the slow cooker the morning of the party or the night before, so they are already cooked before throwing them on the grill. This way I can focus on other party prep and the wings are cooked through and very tender.
Chicken wings are a staple for tailgating and football parties, but they also make a great addition to a backyard barbecue or a picnic in the park.
Toss with one of these sauces just before grilling and make sure you have extra sauce for dipping.
Easy Grilled Chicken Wings
It can be hard to get wings cooked perfectly on the grill. Cooking the chicken wings in the slow cooker before grilling make these wings super tender, perfectly cooked and ready for your favorite chicken wing sauce.
- 4 lb. chicken wings about 20 whole wings split at the wing joints
- 2 t Sea salt
- 1 t freshly ground black pepper
- Olive oil
- Oil for the grill

Toss wings in olive oil to coat season with salt and pepper.
Cook in a slow cooker on high for 3 hours.
If you will be finishing these the next day let cool then cover and refrigerate.
Heat a gas grill to medium-high or prepare a medium-hot charcoal fire.
Rub the grill grate with oil.
Toss the wings with your choice of sauce or sauces.
Grill wings, covered on a gas grill or uncovered over a charcoal fire, flipping every couple of minutes, until they’re browned and crisp about 10 minutes.
It’s easy enough to double or triple this recipe., just change the serving size. Just be sure to do the same with the accompanying sauce.
