THE BEST BURGER RECIPE
The Ultimate make your own burger bar starts with an awesome hamburger patty.
Use 80% lean ground chuck anything else is too lean. The 80% ground chuck is still very lean but has better flavor and won’t dry out on the grill.
The secret to the best burger patties is to keep it simple.
Just a healthy grind of black pepper and a little dash of salt. Plus I grind a blend of freeze-dried garlic and herbs de Provence. Easy-breezy.
Simple delicious hamburgers – there’s nothing better!
HOW TO MAKE HAMBURGER PATTIES
1. Divide meat into even portions. Shape them into balls to make sure they’re all the same size.
2. Shape into patties by pressing down evenly on patties.
3. Place patties on a tray lined with parchment paper. For the best results grill them right away. You can wrap these in plastic wrap and keep them in the fridge for 24 hours. They also freeze beautifully, just make sure to separate the patties with parchment paper.

Pineapple on a burger? Yep. Trust me, give it a try. It gives the burger just a little sweetness that plays off the sharpness of the crispy red onion.
This burger definitely makes my top 5 list.
