Homemade Keto Friendly Granola | Coconut Tart Cherry is the perfect grab and go breakfast and the perfect topping for yogurt.  

Making granola always seemed mysterious.  I never really thought about making it at home – in my mind granola came in a bag – end of story.

Then I needed more control over the ingredients in my food and that started my search for the perfect Keto friendly granola recipe.

Through a little trial and error, I came up with this mix.  I think this granola is perfectly crunchy and tasty.

This is a great basic keto homemade friendly granola recipe and super easy to customize to include your favorite granola flavors.

Homemade Keto Friendly Granola | Coconut Tart Cherry

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Homemade Keto friendly granola is the perfect grab and go breakfast or snack. It's the perfect topping for your morning yogurt. This is also delicious for topping fresh berries for a crunchy treat.
Make a batch (or a double batch) on Sunday for an easy breakfast all week long.
Make delicious Keto friendly granola variations by substituting other types of nuts and fruit.
Granola will keep for up to 10 days if kept in a dry cool place in a tightly sealed container.
Here in Florida, I keep mine in the refrigerator and it stays fresh much longer.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. almonds - chopped
  • 1 c. walnuts - chopped
  • 1 c tart cherries - dried and chopped
  • 1 c. unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/4 c. sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp. flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground clove
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/4 c. melted coconut oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together almonds, walnuts, tart cherries, and coconut flakes, sesame seeds, flax seeds, and chia seeds. Stir in cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Toss to coat.
  • Beat egg white until foamy then stir into granola.
  • Add coconut oil and stir until everything is well coated.
  • Pour onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden, gently stirring halfway through.
  • Let cool completely. Then seal in an airtight container. Store at room temperature or refrigerate.
