My grilled peach with prosciutto and goat cheese appetizer is my favorite riff on the classic melon and prosciutto appetizer. Finished with a hot honey white balsamic glaze, these are so good. I think they look fancy and make a great addition to any occasion. Since they are ready in 10 minutes you can serve these at any meal.

Grilled Peach, Prosciutto and Goat Cheese Appetizer

Grilling the peaches brings out the full flavor of the fruit and adds a little smoky goodness.  Super fast and easy + they are beautiful and delicious.



  • 2 peaches firm but ripe
  • 8 sprigs rosemary fresh
  • 2 T goat cheese I like to use peppered goat cheese
  • 4 T olive oil
  • 2 T white balsamic vinegar glaze if you can't find it in your market, it's easy to make. I have a link in the notes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 t hot spicy honey see note below
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat charcoal or electric grill to 400 degrees

  2. Core and cut peaches into wedges - five or six per peach

  3. Toss peaches with 1 T olive oil

  4. Place non-stick foil over grates

  5. Grill peaches until they begin to caramelize, about 3-4 minutes

  6. Remove from peaches from the grill.

  7. Wrap grilled peaches with prosciutto and tuck the goat cheese inside the prosciutto.

  8. Use 1 rosemary sprig per peach to hold prosciutto in place

  9. Mix white balsamic glaze and hot honey together and drizzle over prosciutto covered peaches.

  10. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If you can't find hot honey in the market just add a couple of dashes of cayenne to your honey and mix thoroughly.  I like to put this in the microwave for a couple of seconds to make mixing it in easier.
