This super easy watermelon ginger sparkling water recipe is one of my favorites. I love bubbles in my water. I bought my first watermelon of the season yesterday and it’s amazingly delicious. It will be perfect for this easy watermelon ginger sparkling water recipe. It’s going to make a perfectly sweet and spicy sparkling water.
I make this recipe at least once a week during watermelon season, it’s such a special treat after a winter of really bad or no watermelon. + it has the added benefit of being a healthy alternative to soda or a cocktail. A great mocktail for your next get together.
Easy Watermelon Ginger Sparkling Water Recipe
- 10 cups 1-inch pieces seedless watermelon - rind removed
- 1 cup cold coconut water
- 3 cups sparkling water - this is a 750 ml bottle
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger juice from Ginger People. Or you can make your own - see notes below
- Lime wheels for garnish - optional
- Working in batches place watermelon and a little coconut water in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a pitcher.
- Continue this process for remaining watermelon and coconut water.
- Add sparkling water, lime juice, and ginger juice to the pitcher and stir to blend.
- Refrigerate until cold, at least 3 hours. Keep chilled. Stir before serving.
- Serve over crushed ice and garnish with a lime wheel if desired.
