I have childhood memories of my mom making chocolate fondue. Today my 24-year-old daughter’s favorite restaurant is a fondue place. Life really does repeat itself. This easy chocolate fondue recipe brings back lots of great memories.
Back in the day, I remember my parents having a fondue pot, it was a burnt orange color. I have such vivid memories of my mom making fondue and how excited she was when she got the fondue pot, using S & H green stamps (remember trading stamps?.) As kids, we weren’t so crazy about the broth method of cooking but we loved the chocolate fondue. It seemed so special and in some way so elegant and grown-up.
Today I love chocolate and fruit together. Every time I make this easy chocolate fondue recipe I think of Mom and remember how much fun she brought into everyone’s life. Chocolate Fondue is so easy to make is a fun ending to any meal. Everyone will enjoy dipping fruit, cake, pretzels, potato chips (and anything else you can dream u into this easy chocolate treat.
