Strawberries are delicious on there own but marinating them in balsamic vinegar brings out their sweetness in a unique, earthy way.

Ok, I get it  – Balsamic and Strawberries?  Actually, the first time I had this dessert in Nappa – it was called “Strawberries macerated in Balsamic Vinegar” and it was served with brown sugar and sour cream.  I really wanted the chocolate cake, but friends convinced me to try this and I’m so glad they did.  I love this, and friends are always surprised to learn that the berries are marinated in balsamic.

Try this Easy Balsamic Marinated Strawberries recipe, for a light dessert to finish any meal.  You’ll be glad your friend recommended it!
