Cream Cheese with Hot Pepper Jelly Appetizer Bites Recipe

I love spicy food and pepper jelly served over cream cheese has long been a family favorite served with crackers.  These little appetizer bites are familiar and comforting. Add a couple of veggie sticks for garnish is you like.

I like to use local jams and my current favorite is a pineapple jalapeno pepper jelly.  Yum!

Cream Cheese with Hot Pepper Jelly Puff Pastry Appetizer Bites

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cream cheese - whipped
  • 2 T pepper jelly
  • 24 puff pastry cups
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Place 24 puff pastry cups on the parchment paper and cook according to package instructions.  Let cool.
  • Place a small scoop of cream cheese  in the center of the puff pastry cup
  • Top cream cheese with pepper jelly
  • Top with cut bell pepper or other veggies if desired.

Notes

 
Try using any of your favorite jelly's for this tasty little bite.
